Orange - Day 3 and flowers

As I talked about yesterday here Shelly and I are doing a color challenge this week and our color is orange.  Here is my picture for day 3.  Be sure and stop by Shelly's blog to see what she comes up with for day 3.

After I took this I went to the United States Botanic Garden.   I took the photo below at the gardens.  I am really happy with it so I thought I would share it.

Today I went to the United States Botanic Garden with some friends and got to see some beautiful orchids and other plant species.  If you live in the Washington D.C. and have never been I recommend you visit the next time you are down on the mall and if you are planning a visit you should include it in your plans. This is one of the pictures I took and sadly I didn't write down the name of it but I just really like the look of this plant.
