Orange - Day 5

Today is day 5 in my color challenge with Shelley from A Bunch of Photos.  It seems I like construction equipment and materials.

While I was out running errands I ran across a store that sells this equipment.  I was given permission to take some photos and I liked this one the best.

Orange - Day 4

Today I was interpreting a training for 6 hours so I wasn't able to get out much for my orange photo so I went back to the construction site where I took yesterday's photo and snapped this one of the cones.

Orange - Day 3 and flowers

As I talked about yesterday here Shelly and I are doing a color challenge this week and our color is orange.  Here is my picture for day 3.  Be sure and stop by Shelly's blog to see what she comes up with for day 3.

After I took this I went to the United States Botanic Garden.   I took the photo below at the gardens.  I am really happy with it so I thought I would share it.

Orange - day 2

Shelly from over at A Bunch of Photos and I both needed some inspiration to get our cameras out of our bags and start clicking again.  We decided on a color challenge and this week is orange.  Well you can see how well I did when it started yesterday and I had nothing to show for it.  So here is day 2.....a sculpture that is found in Washington D.C.

I am continuing my reading over at Darcy's blog and her series 31 Days to a Better Photo.  I am up to day 24.  The next couple of days in the series relate to photoshop actions and I really need to be able to spend some time with it so hopefully I will finish the series this week but if not I will finish next week.  It has been a wonderful series.
