Growth - edited for Good to WOW!

This is my first week participating in the Good to WOW photo challenge. This challenge includes posting a straight out of the camera (SOOC) on Monday over at Jill's blog and then editing it and posting the edited version over at Ashley's blog.

Here was my SOOC picture that I posted on Monday:

Now this is my edited version. I am not very familiar with PSE yet so I forgot to write down what I did but I know I followed Ashley's directions using the unsharp mask. Thanks for that tip Ashley!  I think I probably went too dark with this but I am still trying to figure it out.  If you have any tips for me I would love to hear them in the comments.

    The nice thing about this is that you started with such a great SOOC shot. Your edit also looks really nice.

    oh I just love these flowers...your edit is great, they really pop in the 2nd one.
