A wintery morning at Point of Rocks

This morning we missed our commuter train by about 1 minute (yes 1 minute) we watched our train pull away as we parked our car...not the best way to start the day.  However, it allowed me to take a few pictures at the station with better light than I usually experience on the earlier train.  It was a beautiful snowy morning.   These are straight out of the camera (SOOC) the only edit was I cropped off some of the sky on both and added my copyright.  I love the colors.

Yesterday when we arrived at the train station to take our morning commuter train we were greeted by fog that was breaking through the trees and was beautiful.  Unfortunately, I didn't get the best shot of it as I was trying not to miss my train and still get a photo.

I haven't posted in a few days but I took this picture last Thursday as I was waiting for the commuter train to go into Washington D.C..  It is of the top of the Point of Rocks train station.  I want to try to take more pictures of this station when there are not a lot of commuters around.  I will go back.

I took this picture at the Point of Rocks train station while I was waiting for Arthur since he missed our regular train. I like the way these grasses look and they are soft to the touch.
