Our pond has 3 adult fish and approximately 30 babies that were born last fall. The mama fish is a Japanese fantail and last week was mating season in the pond so we may be getting more fish babies. If that is the case we will have to give away the babies as our pond is only 400 gallons and can only sustain so many fish. Mama is the fish on the left and the one on the right is one of the 2 males.
Wow - what a great shot of your fish! The red color really comes through so saturated. Love it!

tooo cool. i hope lots of those babies make it. Do the birds or wildlife try to get in and eat them?
ReplyDeletenice shot too
I hope a lot of the babies make it too. We really enjoy watching them grow. A lot of birds use the waterfall as a bird bath and that is found to watch. Unfortunately, we have a heron that has attacked our fish 2 different years. We just pray the heron doesn't come back this year.
ReplyDeleteI love their colors too.
