Could spring actually be here? 148/365

Yesterday, it was raining out but things still needed to be spruced up in the yard so I was out there in the rain trimming the butterfly bush, picking up sticks from the wind and snow storms and checking on the fish in the pond among other things.  It was great to see signs of spring like the hyacinth below pushing through the earth, there were also tulips, heuchera, bleeding hearts, hydrangea, and peonies all trying to come through.  It was great to see since we finally had the last of the snow melt only last week.  I love spring.  I took this picture today since I didn't want to damage my camera yesterday.  I really need to fix my light box (I think one of the cats thought it was one of their toys) so that I can still take pictures during these rainy, gray days.

  5. I would if Liam thinks the flower will hurt him or if the flower is being hurt as it is being pushed through the ground. My guess is the ends of the leaves look pointy and sharp.
