Welcome Home 48/365

As I posted the other day that while I was flat out on the couch with my back I was trying to learn some of Photoshop Elements and one of the things I learned to do was storyboards. Above is my version of a storyboard so that I could post one picture here that it is really 3 pictures. The picture to the far left is our front door a few months ago. Since the front of our house is brick with black shutters I decided to paint the door black. Read that as Arthur painted the door black. I am a horrible painter. A friend of mine posted some pictures on her blog showing what she did with some sayings that she got from Uppercase Living I loved the way it looked so I checked out their catalog and decided on the above Welcome sign. Thanks Laura for sharing your pics and thanks Laurie for helping me with my order!

  2. The storyboard didn't take too long. I am sure once I do them more often I will be even quicker. Do you have Photoshop Elements? If so let me know and I will type up the directions for you and send them via email.

  4. The Welcome part is removable. I believe you are suppose to hit it with a hair dryer first and the just pull off. If you go to www.uppercaseliving.com it will do a better job of explaining it to you.
