National Book Festival 10/365

Today was the Library of Congress National Book Festival. This is an annual event that brings in authors from multiple genres to talk about their books, writing, characters, etc. It is always a good time but this year was an exceptional year for authors. Unfortunately, it started raining in the afternoon and after awhile we left. Some of the great authors we got to see were from top to bottom: Jodi Piccoult, Paula Deen and James Patterson.

  2. The book festival is a great time but this year it was almost impossible to get a seat in the tents so we sat on the ground for 2 speakers and stood for 3. I think it is fabulous that there are so many readers out there but I would have loved a seat!
