In the shuttle on the way to Union Station tonight I noticed this amazing light hitting the U.S. Capitol building and tried to quickly grab my camera and get a shot. Hard to do in a moving vehicle but I got part of it and I am glad I did.

Rainy day and thankfulness 54/365
Today was a windy, rainy day in Washington D.C.. The above picture is the U.S. Capitol taken through the window of my shuttle on the way to work this morning.
I read on a blog that there is a prompt going around facebook that every day until Thanksgiving you should post what you are thankful for in your status and since I don't have a facebook account I thought I would try to do it here on my blog. Today I am thankful for the shuttle bus drivers who drive in all kinds of weather so I don't have to walk in lousy weather....thank you!!
