Cookie contest details

 As I posted about here I am a finalist in My First Kitchen's cookie and a story contest.  Kendra emailed the schedule today and my cookie recipe and story will be posted on her blog on December 7th.  The stories will be posted from Dec 1 - 21 and voting begins the 22nd and continues through the 28th.  You will be allowed to vote 1 time per day but can go back and vote every day that the voting is open.   I hope you will come and check out all the entries.  I will send out a reminder on December 7 so that you have the recipe to the above cookies.

Good news!

Yesterday Kendra from My First Kitchen emailed me to let me know that I am a finalist in her A Cookie and a Story Contest.  I am so excited!  The cookie recipe I submitted is for King Sized Gingersnaps and the article is about my mom and I and our baking these cookies while I was growing up.  Today I baked a batch so that I could take photos to send to Kendra.  I believe she will post the finalist for people to vote on in December.   I am not including the recipe here since it will be posted on her blog and I would love for everyone to check it out.  Once it is up I will let you know.  Here is one of the photos from today.
