A Fun Day Out

This past Sunday my husband and I met up with Alissa from Have Stroller Will Travel, her hubs, and her little dude for a Frederick Keys game.  The Keys are a High A class team here in Maryland.  It was a good time and it ended up being a double header since their Saturday night game was postponed due to Hurricane Irene.  We met the team mascot Keyote, isn't he cute?



Alissa's little dude ran the bases after the game and did a great job!  You can see here his hat was falling down over his eyes but he still made it across home plate, greeted by Keyote with a big smile on his face!

Fun Day on the Farm

Today our friend Alissa and the little dude from over at Have Stroller Will Travel another friend Kristen, Arthur and I went to Summers Farm for opening day of the fall season.  It was fun day full of lots of things to do and see.

There was the apple canon.  Here is Arthur's first try being loaded by one of the staff.

There were rubber duck races.  Here is Kristen and the little dude racing:

There was a variety of animals.  Here are just a few.

 There was a corn maze that is really 2 mazes in one.  A short one and a long one.  The long one is in the shape of the Washington Redskins logo and the short one said Summers Farm.  Kristen had to leave so the rest of us did the short one.

But I think that Arthur had the most fun on the slide.  Looking at these pictures what do you think?

What a great way to spend a Sunday.  If you have a local farm go check it out and enjoy all they have to offer.
